As the darker months begin many people face mental health decline, a lack of energy and connection. Halloween sits at this turning point- offering a powerful opportunity to counter isolation with creativity and community. HallowsFest uses the spirit of Halloween to celebrate identity, difference and self-expression. By embracing the unusual and the unconventional, this project creates an inclusive space where people can feel seen, accepted and connected. All at a time of year it is needed most.
Our Story
HallowsFest CIC comes from a place of inclusion and mental well-being, many of us understanding the difficulties of acceptance and meaningful connection at a time of year where seasons change and people part ways. HallowsFest CIC will be delivering a series of inclusive, creative workshops focused on mental well-being, culminating in a community-led alternative arts and music Halloween festival. The project will support local artists, engage community members and provide accessible creative experiences that promote connection, self-expression and emotional well-being.

Aims & Objectives
At HallowsFest CIC, we prioritize our community and everyone within it through our annual HallowsFest Festival, complemented by well-being workshops, engaging fundraisers, and unique merchandise tailored to our community's interests. We are dedicated to supporting local artists, musicians, and performers helping them shine on our Hallowed ground through structured guidance, event practices, and our experienced teams. Our mission is to empower them to find direction, build confidence, and take ownership of their creative journeys. By collaborating with venues, studios, educators, and performance technicians who share our passion for local arts, music, and entertainment, we celebrate the potential for growth within our community.
How we do it.
Creative Workshops
Through an experienced team we deliver art and creation workshops, which are displayed and showcased at events in the local area culminating in our annual HallowsFest Festival. Our goal is to enhance access to the arts for the local community, foster stronger connections through shared creative experiences and goals. Engaging with the alternative community and youth who often feel disconnected.
Working with local musicians & performers
We are dedicated to supporting local grassroots individuals in pursuing their dreams and finding fulfillment. By connecting them with experienced musicians in professional settings and providing educational opportunities, we create safe spaces for exploration and creativity in music
Join us each year as we celebrate HallowsFest, an immersive experience that honors Celtic spirituality through vibrant costumes and lively music designed to keep wandering spirits at bay. Our ever-changing themes bring fresh and creative decor, creating unique universes for all to enjoy. We proudly support local traders and creatives showcasing their wares and highlighting the talents of our workshop attendees. With spooky-inspired food and drink, diverse performances, and iconic, HallowsFest marks the end of the harvest season, inviting everyone to cherish their loved ones as we embrace the darker months ahead.
